If you're like most of my readers, adulthood is coming at you fast. You either just graduated from college or you're about to, and you're still figuring out what comes next. You're probably passionate and driven, and you have high hopes and big dreams for the future, even if you're not quite sure what that future looks like yet. (I mean, setting up your first place and dealing with paperwork is hard enough, let alone figuring out what you want to do with your life.)
I've been there. Two years ago, I was a college student with no idea what I was doing or who I wanted to be. Today, I'm a graduate of Oxford University and Wellesley College; a homeowner and an expat; a self-employed writer and the owner of my own business. (You would not believe the paperwork.) Most of the time, I still don't really know what I'm doing. But the music keeps playing, so I'm figuring out the dance as I go along.
Here at Sara Laughed, I blog about succeeding in your twenties and savoring each moment. I believe that these years can be enjoyable and meaningful and amazing, just as much as they can be hard. I believe that life is for living and loving and giving back, because joy is magnified when savored and shared. And I believe that everything's easier if you have a friend to show you the ropes. Which is why I share my own stories as often as I share resources and advice — because if you can't learn from my mistakes, who will?!
That's all I've got for now, but I'd love to hear from you. Leave me a comment below letting me know about who you are and what you're looking for, or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'm excited to hear from you!
